

Juliet Wine Club celebrates great wines from small producers, paired with a menu created specially for the occasion.
Each edition explores a different theme and showcases wines from across Europe, selected and introduced by our sommelier and a network of industry professionals and producers.
The evening’s wines will be available to purchase on the night at a discounted rate, along with a few specially chosen bottles from our cellar, to enjoy at home.
Our wines are sourced from small European wineries who farm with a low intervention approach and are guided by organic or biodynamic principles.

Laura David — Loire

For our very first wine club we are thrilled to welcome Laura David who will be pouring her wines from the Loire, matched with a 4 course menu that embraces the flavours of spring with produce gathered from our kitchen garden at Lypiatt Park and ingredients from our local suppliers.
Laura will share her insights into organic and biodynamic winemaking and is joined by Léa of Deja Bu Wines. A laid-back evening to discover new wines and enjoy beautiful dishes that welcome the abundance of the season.
Originally from Touraine, Laura founded her domaine in Montlouis-sur-Loire in 2017 when she was just 25. Organic and biodynamic farming lies at the heart of Laura’s winemaking, with a respectful approach to nature and a focus on cycles, healthy soils, and people.
Laura cultivates 9 hectares of vineyards, rooted in the distinctive flint-rich and clay terroirs of Montlouis-sur-Loire and the sandy soils of Saint-Martin le Beau. These plots yield wonderfully diverse expressions of AOC Chenins along with stunning reds including Côt (also known as Malbec), Pinot Noir and Cabernet Sauvignon.
Come harvest, the grapes are picked by hand and carefully sorted in the vineyard to ensure top quality fruit. The cellar is dug into the hillside, providing an optimal environment for vinification and an inspiring space for the creation of these wines that are brimming with life and closely connected to the land.​​
