The Bar at Juliet, Stroud with two glasses of wine
A table in Juliet restaurant, Stroud with a selection of cocktails, wine and small plates of food

By day, the bar at Juliet is a casual café with the charm of European wine bars at heart.

Apéritifs are served from 12pm, Italian spritz, Campari soda and vermouth & soda, martini, a small kir, negroni or draught früh all feature regularly.

From lunch until late, a selection of small plates, oysters, panisse, baccala mantecato, oeuf mayonnaise and charcuterie are served.

On Saturday we open from 9.30am, serving Triple Co Coffee, freshly squeezed orange juice, citron pressé, patisserie & panino buns.

Juliet’s sommeliers Charlie & Kenji have curated a list of daily blackboard wines by the glass. Start with a glass of bubbles, and if you have never tried chilled red, ask Charlie to pick one that pairs well with our small plates in the bar.

This is a bar for forgotten classics, historically important wines and a rustic authenticity. Highlighting wines from small family producers, making wine in European regions often overlooked.

In spring and summer you can have drinks and the bar menu on our sunny balcony and on Saturdays it is a welcome pitstop, before or after, a visit to the famous bustling
Stroud Farmers' Market.
